I have been thinking along the lines of where learning occurs as it relates to videoconferencing. I have a draft post that I have been thinking on for about two weeks now. 

I tend to be more constructivist in my educational philosophy and it seems to me that especially in videoconferencing we have an opportunity to craft learning experiences that are highly engaging and motivating for our students that can help achieve high academic outcomes as well. 

I continue to hear from our students and teachers about the power of our videoconferencing projects (i.e. Tx Twisted Weather, Tx History Mystery, Bluebonnet Conference, etc) for motivating and engaging students who have shown little interest in school or formal learning in the past. 

Looking forward to hearing more of your thoughts on learning, engagement and motivation.
